Originally this cigar came packaged in 5 packs and was named El Carajo, Carajo being a somewhat vulgar expression of surprise eg 'Carajo! That cigar is good!' The name Carajon is made up, it is a fusion of 'Carajo' and Cajon which means cabinet. The El Carajon are packed in retailer friendly 'double lid' cabinet boxes of 100 cigars.
